MOBO Awards 2008

It has been announced that this year’s 13th MOBO Awards show (Music Of Black Origin) will take place on Wednesday 15th October at the Wembley Arena, London.

Tickets to the annual award show go onsale this Wednesday and can be bought through www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

Last year’s ceremony included soulful performances from Amy Winehouse, Robin Thicke, and Ne-Yo. Click here to view last year’s winners.

This year’s MOBO Awards “will reach a global audience in over 75 countries spanning 5 continents and in the UK is being broadcast on the night by BBC Three with highlights on BBC One.”

Nominations will be announced in early September, before being put to a public vote.

I wonder if there will be a Soul category this year…?
